Geaux 4 Kids 5k

The “Geaux 4 Kids 5K” is an event to support Geaux 4 Kids “Geaux Bags” intiative. As children enter foster care at all hours of the day and night, they come in all shapes and sizes. The Geaux Bag is meant to have the essential items any child may need as well as a comfort item.   All proceeds will be donated to this initiative. Join us for this exciting event and to help with this great, local charity.

Course Description:  The 5k Run will begin in the parking lot of the Southfield Shopping Center and will run through Broadmoor Subdivision and then back to the shopping center

Entry Fee: 5k Registration:  All ages can register for the 5K
Early Bird Registration is $20 through March 31st

$25 April 1st through May 17th,

Late registration is $30, May 18th - Race Day

Sleep in Supporter: If you cannot be there, but still want to show your support.  Pricing schedule is the same as 5k Registration. (You will still receive a t-shirt)

You may register with cash or check at Planet Fitness (5711 Youree Dr.), Favorite Sisters’ Boutique (5723 Youree Dr.), online at www.sportspectrumusa.com, in person at Sportspectrum, or on Race Day starting @ 7 a.m. at Favorite Sisters’ Boutique.

Race Packet: Pre-registered participants will receive an official race T-Shirt.  You must register by May 13th to guarantee a race shirt.

Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum Thursday, May 16th, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, May 17th, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Race Day from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. at race site.

Awards: 5K:  Overall Male & Female winners in the 5K will receive a $100 gift certificate to Sportspectrum. 1st and 2nd place male and female 5K winners will receive a gift card to a local business in the following age groups: 8-under, 9-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+
