Brought to you by: Geaux Play, GREAT, B2B, Port Au Prince and Breathe Yoga, H2GO Paddle, and Harbuck Outdoor Sports
Benefitting GREAT: GREAT is an offering of The Arc Caddo-Bossier. We provide therapeutic horseback riding programs for children, teens and adults with disabilities. Through certified instructors and trained volunteers, our program positively affects the physical, psychological and social well being of our students. GREAT offers diverse programs to local schools and hospitals as well as private lessons and summer camp programs.
5K & paddlefest: Registration $55 until 11:00 a.m. August 23rd
$60 Race Day
5K only: Early registration $35 until August 8th,
$40 August 9th - 24th
$45 Race Day
Paddlefest only: Early registration $35 until August 8th,
$40 August 9th - 24th,
$45 Race Day
***participants in the paddlefest must wear a Type III or higher life jacket in order to participate in the event***
The GREAT Post Race Party: Join us for a post race celebration at Port Au Prince. $15 gets you into the party where you can sample delicious food and beverages from Port Au Prince. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Bayou Gypsies. There will be raffle items, door prizes and lots of fun!
Packet Pick-up: You may pick up your packet early at Sportspectrum ~
Thursday, August 23rd from 12 - 6:30 pm
Friday, August 24th from 10 am - 5:30 pm.
Race day pick up will be from 7:00 am - 7:45 am at Port Au Prince
Awards: Will be given to 1st overall 5K finishers male and female in each of the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
1st Overall male and female in the 5k & Paddlefest,
1st Overall male and female in the paddleboard, kayak and canoe
1st Overall 2 person kayak
1st Overall 2 person canoe
