Description
Third Annual Heart of Gold 5 k to benefit the MLK Health Center
Held by LSU Health Sciences Center Executive Council
April 1, 2017 at Stoner Ave. Boat Launch 5k to begin at 8:00am
Course Description: 5K Race starts and finishes at the Stoner Ave. boat launch (857 E Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA 71104)
Registration: It is preferred that you register early online at sportspectrumusa.com or by dropping off or completing your race application at Sportspectrum – 6970 Fern Ave, Shreveport, LA 71105.
All early registrations will receive a “Heart of Gold Run” T shirt. Register early, as we cannot guarantee shirts to late registrants.
Entry Fee: $25 for early registration through March 14th, 2017
$30 for late registration from March 15th-March 31st,
$35 on race day.
Race Packet Pick Up: Packets will be available for pick up only at Sportspectrum. You may pick up your packet early at Sportspectrum on
Thurs., March 30th from 12:00pm to 7:00pm and
Friday, March 31st from 10:00am to 5:30pm.
Race day registration and packet pick-up is Saturday, April 1st morning from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 am at Stoner Ave. Boat Launch
Awards: 5k-Overall Male & Female finishers in the 5k race will receive a trophy prize. Additionally each age group top male and female finishers will receive metals for top 2 positions per age group: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65 +
Post Party: Join us at Red River Brewery for our after party!
