Knocking Out Child Abuse 5k

*Join us as we and the community team up to “Knock Out Child Abuse” one mile at a time! Our 5k/Fun Run is an event that brings awareness to Child Abuse. We, as a community, need to stand together and protect our children! There is NO EXCUSE FOR CHILD ABUSE!! All proceeds will go to B.A.C.A. and the Gingerbread House so come out and show your support because EVERY CHILD MATTERS!!*

Date & Starting Time:  Saturday, June 25th; 5k starts at 8:30 a.m., 1 mile fun run at 8:00 a.m. Betty Virginia Park

Registration:  The Fun Run is $10. Early Bird 5k Registration is $20 until May 30th. $25 May 31st through June 13th. Late registration is $30 June 14th through race day. Register online at www.sportspectrumusa.com (online registration closes June 13th at 7:00 a.m. Register early to be guaranteed a race shirt. No shirts guaranteed to late registrants!

Phantom Runner: If you cannot be there you can still show your support! Sign-up as a Phantom Runner. You will get a shirt and race packet without breaking a sweat!

T-shirts & Race Packet Pick-Up:  You may pick your packet up at Sportspectrum, Thursday, June 23rd from noon-6:00 p.m. and Friday, June 24th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.. You may also pick up your packet race day at the race site starting at 7:00 a.m.

Awards:  Overall Male & Female winners in the 5k will receive a medal and 1st & 2nd Male & Female age group winners will also receive a medal.

Age Groups:  11-under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Post Party: Join us after the race for refreshments!!

Special Note:  Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
