Description
Join Paws4 Life and Run Wild for our second Paws on the Move 5k race!
Paws 4 Life is a nonprofit 501c3 dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals. We facilitate partnerships with 150 rescues and transport animals to provide them with a family of their own. To date we have transported and saved 9,000 animals and completed 2022 with 52 successful transports. We have hosted a spay and neuter program that included 379 animals.
With your support and the funds raised we will be working to provide free spay and neuter programs, vaccinations, and flea and tick preventative. Our goal is to lessen the number of unwanted animals in our community. We hope to encourage responsible pet ownership and make animal welfare a priority.
Human 5K
This is a 3.1 mile run through Betty Virginia Park and the surrounding neighborhood. Plus get an awesome race packet and shirt!
Human and Dog 5K
This is a 3.1 Mile run through Betty Virginia Park and the surrounding neighborhood. Get an awesome race packet (includes shirt) and a doggie bag (filled with goodies) for your companion!
Cat Napper
Support this fundraiser, get a shirt and sleep-in! We appreciate your donation!
Note about pet attendance: Please only bring dogs that are well-behaved around other dogs and people. All animals must be on leashes.
Proof of rabies vaccination required. (Current rabies tag on the collar is sufficient.) Female dogs that are in any stage of heat are prohibited. Dogs must be on leashes at all times (maximum 6 feet).
NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES, which may be hazardous in a crowd. You must remove any of your dog's waste.
FIRST 24 PEOPLE TO REGISTER FOR THE 5K WILL RECEIVE A PAIR OF GOODR SUNGLASSES!
