Shine the Light on Sexual Assault

The Shine the Light on Sexual Assault Run is an event to support Project Celebration Inc. as we provide services to victim/survivors of sexual assault in our community. Join us for an exciting awareness event and help us in supporting survivors.

Course Description: 5k Run: The 5k Run will begin on the south side of LSUS behind the Health & Physical Education Bldg.  The course is two times around the college campus and then back to the starting line. 

Fun Run: The Fun Run will start behind the HPE and will do a 1/2 mile out and back run on the service road.

Entry Fee: 5k Registration:  All ages can register for the 5K
Registration is $25 through March 15,
Late registration is $30, March 16, - Race Day

Fun Run Registration: (for children 10 & under)
Registration is $15 through March 15,
Late registration is $20, March 16- Race Day

Sleep in Supporter: If you cannot be there, but still want to show your support.

Pricing schedule is the same as 5k Registration. (You will still receive a race towel and goodie bag)

You may register online at www.sportspectrumusa.com, in person at Sportspectrum, or on Race Day starting @ 6 p.m. at LSUS college campus.

Race Packet: Pre-registered participants will receive an official race towel.  Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum Wednesday, April 10, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.,

Thursday, April 11, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or on Race Day from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at race site.

Awards: 5K:  Overall Male & Female winners in the 5K will receive a medal.  1st and 2nd place male and female 5K winners will receive medals in the following age groups: 8-under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Fun Run: Medals will be given for Overall 1st and 2nd Place Male & Female (age 10 and under). Fun Run ribbons will be given to each participant.
