Come Run Sulphur, Louisiana!
The Sulphur High School Cross Country team & Race Pace Multisport, LLC invites you to #RunSulphur on Saturday, February 4, 2023 in Sulphur, Louisiana!

It all started with running for Jimbo in 2010. A group of novice runners called the "SPAR Stars" were training for an out of town half marathon when one of their husbands was diagnosed with cancer. Rather than traveling out of town to run, the group of runners decided to "Run for Jimbo". The half marathon raised money for medical expenses for Jimbo's cancer treatment.
Sulphur's first half marathon was supported within the community and is now a fundraiser for others. The Sulphur High Cross Country teams benefit from the  half marathon & 10 kilometer races. The Sulphur High Cross Country team lines the route to provide "splits" and motivation along the route.
The 1 kilometer race proceeds benefit a cancer warrior. This year's cancer warrior is TBD.
Southwest Louisiana (SWLA) is known as a Youth Sports Capital as a result of quality facilities and providing athletes and coaches with top-notch experiences on and off the field. The Park to Park races will take you to through some of these facilities and passed historical buildings such as Henning Cultural Center, West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital, and the old City Courthouse.
Start/Finish will be located at Sulphur's Heritage Square at 1015 Ruth Street.

Map of half marathon

Due to construction, the route is modified from previous years. Please review map of 2023 half marathon. You will run through Frasch Park. The map would not allow me to demonstrate that route.  This map shows 13.5miles. I will modify the turnaround on Vine Street to correct the length of route.
