Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership 5K “The Run Off” & Stroll/Walk
Dear local business leader,
Plans are under way for the inaugural running of the Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership’s 5K “ Run Off” & Stroll/Walk. The event will be a special day and a great opportunity for you to connect with local racing participants and spectators. We can’t do it without the help of business leaders like you. We are seeking your support to make “The Run Off” a success. Our event is scheduled for the morning of Saturday March 29, 2025, and will include the following:
- A 5-kilometer road-race sanctioned and certified by Precision Course Design in Dunellen
- A 1.5-mile eco-walk through Dunellen to the Green Brook Litter Trap & Juvenile Glass Eel
- Unique and interactive environmental arts and music
- Custom-designed race tee-shirts for all pre-registered racers and walkers
- Race officially timed by Lin-Mark Sports utilizing race bib BTAG chips.
- Race website with convenient online registration and resources
- Table opportunities for patrons to connect with attendees
- Marketing programs to generate awareness and participation
Our goals for this event include: promote fitness, family fun and a sense of community, all while promoting your business. The road race community is very loyal and likes to do business with those who support them. With the funds, we hope to continue our mission to revitalize, improve, and safeguard the natural resources of the Lower Raritan Watershed through community-based participatory science and stewardship, environmental and ecological education, and innovation.

Method 2- Mail In: Request a Business Patron Application form for you to complete and return in the envelope provided. Contact me 908-433-9230 or via e-mail at kathleenahumphrey@gmail.com and we will mail the form - be sure to include your address. Please return the application by February 15 or ASAP, so that we can proceed with our exciting plans. I would love to hear from you.
