Packet pickup will be hosted on Saturday, July 25 from 10am-5pm at Playmakers (2299 W Grand River Ave, Okemos, MI 48864).
Race day packet pickup will be avaible onsite at Lake Lansing Park South starting at 7am at the pavilion closest to the bandshell.
Yes, participants are welcome to pick up someone else's packet! Just be ready to present the participant's registration QR code, or be ready to provide their first and last name.
Parking will be located inside Lake Lansing Park South, please access the park from the main entrance off Pike St.
Yes, parking fees are covered by the Playmakers Foundation!
Yes, online registration will remain open through packet pickup and race morning!
7am - Race day packet pickup opens
8am - 10K Run/Walk and Ruck start
10am - Kids Sprint start
10:10am - Kids 1K start
Yes, walkers are encouraged to participate in the 10K! We just ask that you please line up towards the back of the start area.
Dogs are allowed inside Lake Lansing Park South and in the Lake Lansing 10K! We just ask that any participant with a furry friend line up in the back of the start area. Dogs must be leashed AT ALL TIMES.
With the new 10K course, strollers are welcome on the course! Similar to dogs, we ask anyone participating with a stroller to line up in the back of the start area.
The Lake Lansing 10K, Kids Sprint, and Kids 1K all share the same common start and finish line, located inside Lake Lansing Park South.
Restrooms are located in Lake Lansing Park South, both near the parking lot as well as in the main concession building.
There will be no portable toilets available on the course. There are restrooms accessible at the Lake Lansing boat launch, roughly halfway through the race.
Yes, there will be 2 water stations on the course, at the 2 Mile and 4 Mile marks.
Yes, all participants will receive an official Lake Lansing 10K shirt and finisher medal!
Yes, awards will be given to the top overall, masters (40+), and grand masters (50+) male and female finishers! Awards will also be given to the top overall non-binary finisher.
Awards will also be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 13 & Under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
Immediately after you finish, we will have water and Gatorade available.
Under our celebration pavilion, we will have the following:
- Iced tea and lemonade
- Donuts and bagels
- Beer and hard seltzer (must be 21+)
All participants 21+ can get one (1) free beer or hard seltzer after they finish!
In order to receive your drink, you must present your official wristband. Wristbands will be given out at packet pickup on Saturday, July 25 as well as on race day. You must present your ID in order to receive your official wristband.
The Lake Lansing 10K will be held rain or shine! However, if there is severe weather we will follow these policies:
- Thunderstorm Watch - event will be held
- Thunderstorm Warning - event will be cancelled
- Tornado Watch - event will be held
- Tornado Warning - event will be cancelled
- Heat index of <90 degrees - event will be held
- Heat index of 90-99 degrees - event will be held, but participants are strongly encouraged to take it easy
- Heat index of >99 degrees - event will be cancelled
In the event of the Lake Lansing 10K being cancelled due to severe weather, refunds will not be distributed as race expenses have alredy been incurred.
