Course Description
The course is on rolling terrain and around three of Lakeland's most prominent lakes.
The course starts on Rose Ave, and turns south onto Lake Ave, then West onto Orange, before heading downhill south on Iowa Ave to Lake Morton. The course then proceeds to an up and over Success Ave to Lake Hollingsworth before returning to Lake Morton via Success Ave. Runners climb Iowa Ave before descending to the finish on the Lake Mirror Promenade.

Corrals
Your corral number will be indicated on the front of your bib if you registered early. Late registrants will have the information printed on the lable on the back of their bib.
If you are in Corral 1, you will line up behind the timer's start line.
There will feather flags marking the start of corrals 2 through 10. Line up behind the number that corresponds to the number on your bib.
Each corral has a pace range of 2 to 3 minutes - this means that some corrals will be bigger because of the normal distribution of paces in a 10k. There are fewer faster runners and walkers and more runners in the 55 to 65 minute range.
Respecting your placement in the corrals helps make race day better for everyone and helps reduce the amount of passing or being passed.
