Become A Fundraiser
Becoming a Personal Fundraiser allows you to create a goal for multiple donors, your friends, co-workers to apply their donations to.
The process of becoming a Personal Fundraiser is very straightforward:
- Click on Set Up A Personal Fundraiser
- Begin by entering in a name for your Fundraiser. By default, fundraiser names auto-fill to be your name.
- Enter in a goal for your Fundraiser
- Create your Custom Fundraiser URL which can be used to send people directly to your fundraiser page
- Add a Personal Message to describe your Fundraiser
- Add an image to make your Fundraiser Page more personal
After you have created your Personal Fundraiser, if you would like, you can associate your Personal Fundraiser with a New or Existing Fundraising Team. Fundraising teams are groupings of Personal Fundraisers working towards a common goal.
To create a New Fundraising Team
- Scroll down to the Team Fundraising Page
- Enter in a name for your new Fundraising Team
- Enter in a goal for your new Fundraising Team
- Add a message to describe your Fundraising Team
- When you finish creating your team, you’ll now see that you have a link on your Individual Fundraiser Page to your new Fundraising Team. You will notice that your new Fundraising Team page will have links to each Individual Fundraiser that is a part of this Fundraising Team, and you can share your Fundraising Team on multiple platforms so that other Fundraisers can know about your Fundraising Team.
To join an Existing Fundraising Team
- Simply click on the dropdown under "Join A Team Fundraiser" or the "Search Team Fundraisers" button.
- Select the Team Fundraiser you wish to join
- Confirm
