Race Details
- When does the race start?
- The 5K will begin at 9:00 a.m.
- Kids Fun Run will begin at 10:00 a.m.
- Where does the race start?
- Each race will start amidst the lavender fields at Capay Valley Lavender.
- Venue location is 20470 County Road 79, Capay, CA 95607.
- 2025 route will be released soon.
- What is the running surface for the race?
- Routes for both the 5K and Kids Fun Run will be on natural surfaces opposed to paved roads.
- Participants will encounter a combination of gravel, grass and dirt along the route.
- Who can participate in the Kids Fun Run?
- The Kids Fun Run is catered for youth ages 12 and under. Children can be accompanied by an adult at no additional fee.
- This race will not be timed or scored, and finish rankings are not kept.
- Note: Only registrants with an official race bib will receive finisher items.

Packet Pick Up
- Where do I collect my bib and race shirt?
- Packet pick up will be held the morning of the race (stay tuned for times).
- Pre-event packet picket options are pending.
- Can I have a friend/family member collect my bib number and shirt for me?
- Yes! If you can’t make the event, a friend, colleague or family member can collect your bib and shirt for you. They will need your registration information.
- Do you offer shirt size exchanges?
- Supplies are limited. Shirts can be exchanged after you finish the race subject to availability.
- Note: Race shirts are only guaranteed for registrations made by May 9, 2025.
Registration
- When is the deadline to register for this year's race?
- Online registration will remain open through the morning of the race and close 30 minutes prior to the start of the 5K.
- What is included with registration?
- Each participant will receive a race shirt, bouquet of lavender, and a finisher swag.
Course Regulations
- What does it mean to be a family friendly race?
- The 5K is open to all paces and welcome to caregivers accompanied by children in strollers.
- However, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, or any other type of vehicles are not permitted on the course.
- Can I wear my headphones / earbuds?
- We encourage a headphone/earbud-free environment during the race. It is important that we ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone and any verbal instructions or commands are audible from race staff and volunteers.
