Charity Partner
We are excited to welcome back Peace Neighborhood Center as our charity partner for this year's event.
Peace Neighborhood Center's mission is to provide programs for children, families, and individuals who are affected by social and economic problems — to help them discover options, enhance skills, and make choices that lead to self-sufficiency and positive community involvement.
Peace Neighborhood Center's services include: advocacy, emergency assistance, after-school programs, summer day camps, college and career preparation, individual and family counseling, and family enrichment. Peace is proud to have provided critical services and opportunities to more than 17,000 people in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County over the course of the past 50+ years. As part of the Run-a-thon, the school will be conducting a Coins for a Cause challenge leading up to the run. Send your kids to school with your spare change. Not just your spare change, but ask friends, family members, and neighbors for their spare change. The monies raised through the Coins for a Cause challenge will raise much-needed money for our charity partner, Peace Neighborhood Center. The first $2,000 raised through the Coins for a Cause challenge will go directly to Peace Neighborhood Center, so don't be shy — donate!
