We're excited to see you at the 18th annual Legal Runaround! It's going to be a great night and kick-off for the holiday weekend!
Registration opens at 5:30 p.m.
Kids Dashes start at 6:15 p.m.
3K Poker Walk starts at 6:25 p.m.
5K Run kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
Dinner refreshments by Verve as you return!
Awards & Prizes at 7:45 p.m.
Our event site is at Veterans Memorial Plaza (use 20 Grove St., Somerville, NJ for GPS)
Municipal and street parking is located throughout town. The closest lot is #7 on E. High St. but access will close by 6:30 p.m. or when full or when PD deems necessary. See map link below. You can also view info on the Somerville website here.
Check-In opens at 5:30 p.m. Receive your souvenir tech tee and bib #.
New registrations will be accepted between 5:30 p.m. and kick-off of each event.Fill out an entry form neatly and provide cash or check for $35 - 5K; $30 - 3K; or $10 - Kids Dashes.
Registration will remain open online as well where you can pay with credit card with a processing fee.
Wear your assigned bib # on the front of your shirt.
5K Run: Clocks at each mile & the finish; water available along the course; B-Tag chip timing; unofficial results available as you cross the finish line and official results later at BestRace.com or on our website. Course map link below.
3K Walk: Please stay on sidewalks along the route, stay hydrated, and remember your poker sheet! Course map link below.
Kids Dashers run on the grass across from check-in and receive a finisher ribbon!
As you return, enjoy refreshments provided by Verve Restaurant! You can visit them at 18 E. Main St after the event and through midnight! There will also be cookies by Blue Sheep Bakery!
Rain or Shine! The weather outside is weather. So who knows! In the off-chance of severe weather delays or cancellations, announcements would be made (as possible) and we will update our website.
Stay hydrated!
Environmental Notes: While plenty of water will be available to you on-site, we encourage you to bring water in your own reusable bottle to help reduce our single-use plastic waste. A refill station will be available.
We are now accepting your Tyvek bib numbers for recycling! Drop-off will be near check-in and you can bring old bibs too.
Orange bins are for trash going to the landfill. White bins are for Plastic Bottle Recycling Only. If you have additional recycling, please deposit it near check-in as we can't comingle recyclables on-site.
