Donut Dash
Children love Cider Hill Farm! And we love the children! So it's no surprise that we are hosting a Donut Dash for all your children to enjoy!
We've created two course distances so everyone can participate.
We encourage children 8 and under to sign up for the 400 meter dash. Children 9-12 can participate in the 800 meter dash.
The 800 meter dash will start at 9:30AM and the 400 meter dash will start as soon as all those donut dashers are back.
This is not officially scored, but there will be running clock at the finish line so kids can see their time when they cross the finish line.
All Donut Dashers will receive a custom race bib, unique finisher medal, complimentary cider donuts and chicken feed.
Cider Hill Farm offers a slew of fun, interactive activities for children, so after the Donut Dash, while other family members or friends are running in the 5K these are all the activities available:
Giant Sandbox
Horse Swings
Feed the Chickens
Ride the Trikes
Visit the Goats
Post Race
Post race refreshments include our famous apple cider donuts and pours of our hard and non-alcoholic ciders.

Fall Cider - Semi dry cider with a full body and rich character. Seemingly mild at first sip, Autumn has a gentle fruit flavor and low acidity but soon fills your mouth with soft tannins that linger. 8% ABV. Pairs well with tart, acidic foods such as chicken piccata and sharp cheeses.
Your post race enjoyment won't be complete without live music, and plenty of activities for the whole family. Children love the farm! We’ve always done our best to create an atmosphere that is fun, safe, and thought-provoking. We’ve utilized the farm to teach a healthy respect and admiration for what we’ve been given to steward. So…go ahead – feed a chicken, pick some fruit, visit the trike yard, build a sandcastle….and run around with a donut! We simply adore kids of every age!
