Description
Power up your running training with a small group of fellow trail runners over a weekend of training runs, educational sessions, and fireside chillin’.
Get a jump on your summer training while enjoying a fun, laid-back weekend with fellow trail runners. Whether you are just getting your trail feet under you or you run hundreds for breakfast, you’ll leave with new skills, growing confidence and a weekend of miles. Oh, and some new trail running friends too.
We’ll use Harold Parker State Park as our training grounds and weekend retreat, and we’ll camp at the campground within the park. The camp includes almost everything for your weekend and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable, entertained, and well-fed. Your camp fee includes the campsite, meals and snacks, group runs, education sessions, a swag bag of running gear, giveaways and more!
Training and educational sessions include:
- trail runs of various lengths and intensities (for all abilities)
- skills practice for uphill, downhill, and technical terrain
- strength training
- recovery techniques
- performance breathing
- running form
- training planning
- race strategy
- adventure running
- mental preparation for training and racing
Camp starts at 6pm on Friday and ends by 5pm on Sunday.
We are committed to encouraging diversity in trail running and welcome runners of all abilities, races, and gender identities. If you need financial assistance to attend the camp, please reach out to us directly.
