Due to the current situation surrounding Covid-19, we have decided to move this year’s Yankee Homecoming Road Race to a virtual race. We will not be hosting our regular live event on July 28th as originally planned.
The virtual run is now a 2 week-long event allowing us to remain safe while still enjoying the opportunity to participate in this traditional race in 2020. Choose your registration level and then participate from the comfort of your home, neighborhood or favorite route between Tuesday, July 14th and Tuesday, July 28th for a unique experience!
- Run or walk your own course! It can be on a treadmill, on a trail, laps around your home, or in a stairwell.
- Use your favorite GPS tracking device or app to log your distance and time.
- Submit your time manually upon completion of your run into the online virtual result
- Use the RaceJoy app to track your run on the dedicated official course(s) or use the "Anywhere" feature to complete your run anywhere, anytime.
- Your time will be automatically uploaded via the RaceJoy app into the virtual results after you've completed your run.

Race packet will be available for in person curb-side pickup prior to the original scheduled date of July 28th for those who register by July 12th. NEW this year: We are offering two ways to earn back your registration fee.
Refer our friends, family, or co-workers. Share the personal deferral ink contained in your confirmation email. When six people register via your referral link they will be credited back to you and your registration fee will automatically be refunded.
1) Sign up for the Yankee Homecoming 10 miles or 5K (3.1 miles). Once you complete your registration, you'll receive a unique URL link to share.
2) Share this unique link with friends, family, and co-workers as often as you'd like.
3) Each time someone signs up using your link, you'll accrue one referral. Earn six referrals and get your registration fee refunded back to you. Easy right?!?!
- The person with the most referrals in excess of 10 will receive a $50 gift card to the Starboard Galley Restaurant.
Create a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign. When you register for the event, a special fundraising page is automatically created for you to share with your friends, family, and coworkers so they can support an organization you believe in too. There is a minimum fundraising goal of $130. Once the goal has been met, your registration fee will automatically be refunded. Become a fundraiser.
- The person with the most funds raised in excess of $250 will receive a $75 gift card to the Starboard Galley Restaurant.
