CRC End of 2020 Virtual 5K

Happy holiday season, CRC!

After a bit of a break the Race Committee is back with a final virtual race for the year: the End of 2020 Virtual 5K! We had such great participation in earlier CRC virtual 5K races and thought it would be fun to do one more so you can track your progress throughout the year. With weather that is more ideal than the late spring/early summer heat and humidity, along with club workouts starting up again this is a great opportunity to try and improve on your time. The window will open up on Thanksgiving (for those doing turkey trots) and run through Dec. 31, 2020.

The Rules

• Run a 5,000 m. distance (3.11 mi.). Can be on any surface (road, track, trail, etc.), but if it's on the track please run 12.5 laps rather than going by GPS distance.
• Must be a continuous run with no pausing, so be sure to find a loop or stretch without intersections or traffic.
• Run and post results between Nov. 26th 12:00 a.m. ET and Dec. 31st 11:59 p.m. ET.
• Posting results is on the honors system.
• You may run and submit as many efforts as you'd like during the window.
• And as always, please follow the social distancing guidelines of the state and your city.
