 The 2025 Esplanade 5K is Moving to the Fall!

Building on the successful history of beloved 5k race, the Esplanade Association is introducing a dedicated Walk in addition to the annual 5k race for the fall season and right before a family fun holiday! This expansion will allow more opportunity for individuals to participate and do so at their own pace and comfort level, while keeping pathway safety in mind as to not overcrowd.

You can plan on having plenty of things to do other than the 5k or Walk including, fall-themed activities for the family, free samples from vendors, food, music, and for those 21+ you will be able to enjoy the Night Shift Beer Garden on the Esplanade, which will be right next to the Vendor Fair, all located on Fiedler Field on the Charles River Esplanade!

Registration and Tickets:

$35.00: Run Registration 
    Esplanade 5K Runners will receive a chipped bib for timing and race results + prizes

$30.00: Walk Registration
    Esplanade 5K Walkers will receive a bib (not chipped for time)

Proceeds from this event go directly to support the work of the Esplanade Association to revitalize and enhance the Charles River Esplanade, sustain its natural green space, and build community in the park by providing educational, cultural, and recreational programs for everyone.
