Strut Your Stuffing for the Kids!

This is a virtual Turkey Trot to support raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals! All proceeds will be donated to CMNH via this link

Join us from the comfort of your treadmill, neighborhood, or favorite trail as we raise money for CMNH and partake in the age old tradition of running long distances before or after Thanksgiving Dinner!
This race series is available to everyone! We have distances from 0.5 K for the nonrunners, 1K for the littles, and 5K, Half or Full Marathon for the rest! You are welcome to run it any time you like before December 1st, but it is highly encouraged to run it the week of Thanksgiving (which for 2020 is November 22nd - November 28th with Thanksgiving itself on November 26th).

The Medal:

Will be a hand painted 3in wood medal.

$15 – medal only

October 26th and until Dec. 1st 11:59 PM EDT:

$20 for medal only

Shirts will be an additional add-on.

There will be a Cotton T-Shirt or Long Sleeve Tech Shirt to choose from.

I will place the first shirt order on October 26th. I can do a second shirt order, but it will need  to be a large enough order to get the cost to match. If there isn’t enough interest for a 2nd shirt order I will refund the shirt add ons. You may choose to donate them instead.

PRIZES!

We will be awarding small prizes to the following categories (note they are small, but there are several chances to win!) to be eligible your time needs to be in by Dec. 1st at 11:59 pm.

Top 3 Finishers of each distance: Top 3 Overall Top 3 Male Finishers, Top 3 Female Finishers, and Top 3 Non-binary/genderfluid/other gender

Costumes: Post your picture on Instagram and Tag @smores0292! Prizes will be judged by myself (Sheena), my Mom (Bobbie), and my niece (Kenzie). Categories will be made up as we go up to 10 winners. We want to see your creativity!

Age Groups: Each distance will have age groups. They are slightly different to accommodate the likely participants!

0.5K: 0-2, 3-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-20, 20-60, 60-70, 70+

1K: 0-2, 3-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-20, 20-65, 65+

5K: 3 and under, 4-6, 7-10, 11-20, 21-40, 40+

10K: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-69, 70+

Half: 13 and under, 14-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-69, 70+

Full: 16 and under, 17-24, 25-31, 32-39, 40-49, 50-69, 70+

*Please note this is a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! All proceeds will be donated! I based prices off of cost of materials (medals, shirts, prizes) and shipping.

I am hoping that all those registered by October 25th will get their race swag in time for Thanksgiving Week! I need to allow for shirts to be shipped to me, then packaged with the medal and shipped to you.
