Cambridge Half Marathon + 5K

Races are much more fun when shared with your friends! For a team to qualify for the VIP experience, it needs to have a minimum of 25 registered athletes (5K or half marathon) by October 27th at 11:59PM. VIP status gets you a semi-private area to decorate and/or stash your stuff pre-race and a place to hang out after.

You can create your team or add yourself to a team during registration. If you are not sure if your team has already been created, use the TEAMS tab to find out.

Additionally, teams of 25+ registered athletes (5K or half marathon) will each receive a winter hat during bib pick up. All runners that qualify for a hat must be registered for that team by 10/27/24 as well.

All finishers will receive a race medal. 

A total of $6,500 is available in prize money & bonuses.

• Prize money, including bonus, are distributed equally for both men and women in the open division.
• Prize money distribution is based upon gun time results.
• A review of the results will occur prior to the awards ceremony and prize money disbursements.
• Decisions of the race referee are final and cannot be contested

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male, female and non-binary finishers AND the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age divisions for each event:

• 18 and under
• 19-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70-79
• 80+

Winners will be notified via email the Friday after the race. Awards are mailed approximately 2 weeks after the race as they are engraved. 

2024 Cambridge Half Marathon athletes will get a quarter-zip pullover. 2024 color TBD. 

2024 5K participants will get a long sleeve technical shirt. 2024 color TBD.
