Katelan's Pins for a Purpose

Katelan was a beautiful and bright little girl who brought joy and happiness to everyone who came in contact with her. Tragically she died on October 11, 2013, at the age of 22 months.

The cause of Katelan's death remains unanswered. Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) is a name given to a sudden unexplained death of a child over the age of 12 months. It is a diagnosis of exclusion given when no other cause can be found. SUDC is the 5th leading cause of death among toddlers.
