The 7th annual Weir River Farm Trail Run is Sunday, October 15, 2023 and includes running the trails of Weir River Farm and neighboring Whitney and Thayer Woods. There are 3 race distances to choose from — 9.3 miles, 6.0 miles and 3.4 miles.
Come for the race... stay for the cider donuts! Post-race cider donuts are a staple of the fall races in the Barn to Run series. Bring the kids to see the animals, free pumpkin painting and to see all the farm has to offer!
The Weir River Farm Trail Run offers runners a first-class trail race, but is also designed to showcase and raise awareness for the Farm’s property, programs and CSA (community supported agriculture) operations. A portion of the proceeds from will be donated to the farm.
All runners that register by Friday, 9/29/22 will receive a soft cotton, gender specific t-shirt. Register after that date and you will receive a Barn to Run arm warmers. Regardless of when you register, all runners also receive post-race food (cider donuts!) & drink and a chance to win sponsor giveaways. NOTE: If there are any t-shirts left over after the race, runners that receive a pom-pom hat may exchange their hat for a t-shirt.
The 2023 Barn to Run Trail Race Series schedule consists of three events:
