Description
Since 2008, the Lexington High School Cross Country / Track & Field program has hosted an “Alumni Race” on the same nearly all-road course the team has called home since 1970. This year, in the interest of sharing the sport we love with the larger community, the Cross Country / Track & Field team has partnered with the LHS Wrestling team to host the race. Our teams are excited to welcome the running community to The First Annual LexGiving 5k Run/Walk the morning after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 24th at 9am. All proceeds will go to the LHS Cross Country / Track & Field and Wrestling teams.
Entry Fees
- Pre-Registration Race Fee: $35
- Day of Event Race Fee: $40
- Students & Seniors: $25
- Town of Lexington Employees & First Responders: $25
Event Swag
- The first 200 participants to register will receive an official LexGiving 5k T-shirt
- Race T-shirts will also available for sale on race day for $20
- The first 350 participants to register will receive an official LexGiving 5k drawstring bag
- All participants will receive one (1) 50/50 raffle ticket as part of their registration fee
- Additional 50/50 raffle tickets will be on sale on race day for $5 per ticket or $20 for 5 tickets

- Age group awards will be issued to the top male and female finishers in the following categories:
- 11 and under
- 12-14 years old
- 15-19 years old
- 20-29 years old
- 30-39 years old

Strollers are welcome in the race, lined up at the back of the starting pack to avoid collisions.
