Longmeadow Veterans "Charlie Mike" 5k

The Town of Longmeadow's annual Veterans Day 5k Run/Walk for 2018 will be presented by Fleet Feet. This race will be held at the Greenwood Center 231 Maple Rd in Longmeadow on November 3rd. Registration opens at 9:00AM with race start at 11:00AM. The course will be run on some quiet back roads and we'll have food, fun and music for the whole family to enjoy! We strongly encourage early registration, as well as, ride sharing if possible due to limited parking on-site. The race will be held rain or shine.

Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit these local charities:

Vet Air is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to ensuring that veterans have the necessary travel solutions to and from their medical care appointments free of charge. This is accomplished by partnering with a network of volunteer pilots, aircraft owners, commercial aviators and ground transport providers dedicated to providing transportation to veterans. 

Project New Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2011 by disabled veteran and Board President William Moore. Their motto is “Where Veterans Rebuild with Honor.” Project New Hope’s mission is to help veterans transition to civilian life and to create a mutual support network among veterans, wounded warriors and their families.

The Holyoke Soldiers Home in Holyoke is a fully accredited health care facility that offers veterans quality healthcare, including full-time residential accommodations, an on-site dental clinic, and a multi-service outpatient department.

Race Fees:

Registration  $25

Aug 24th increases to $30

Day of increases to $35 

Packet Pickup: Thursday Nov. 1st from 3-8PM and Friday Nov. 2nd from 10AM-8PM at Fleet Feet in the Longmeadow Shops and also beginning at 9AM at the race on the 3rd.
