Description
Help us raise money to support stroke prevention & education for the American Stroke Association! As part of National Rehabilitation Week, HealthSouth would like to take the opportunity to help serve a population that we work closely with every day. All race proceeds will go directly to the American Stroke Association. There will be entertainment, post race food, raffles, and awards for overall and age group winners! New Race Route this year with the start at our BRAND NEW State of the Art Rehabilitation Hospital in Ludlow!
Be a part of National Rehabilitation Week
National Rehabilitation Week is September 21-27, and is aimed at educating the community about the benefits of rehabilitation, as well as giving back to the patient population that we serve. Our innagural 2013 race, raised over $3,650 for the Boston One Fund to ensure all those affected by the Boston Marathon Bombing recieve the rehabilitation and care the need. This year, we are working to serve a large population that we treat on a daily basis, Stroke. We are fundraising for the American Stroke Association to educate the community about Stroke Risk Factors and warning signs, as well as to help those who need it gain care. Please join us on race day to support a great cause!
