Mattapan Unity 5K Fete

The Mattapan Unity 5K Fete has quickly emerged as a powerful, community-driven event that brings together residents, local businesses, and city officials in a vibrant celebration of health, wellness, and unity. Building on the success of our inaugural race—which exceeded expectations with over 350 participants—the event continues to demonstrate strong community demand for accessible, culturally rooted wellness programming in Mattapan.

In partnership with the Cummins Highway Neighborhood Association, Greater Mattapan Neighborhood Council, and Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition, the Mattapan Unity 5K is designed to expand access to healthy, active living opportunities. More than just a race, it is a festival-style experience that promotes fitness, strengthens community connections, and showcases the rich culture and resilience of Mattapan.

• 7:00 AM (Registration)
• 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM (Run/Walk)
• 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM (Awards: Runners & Organizations)
• 10:00 AM -11:00 AM (Community Health and Social Fair: Food, DJ's, Health and Fitness Vendors, Activities)

Location: 350 River St, Ryan Playground, Mattapan, MA 

*T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

You may qualify for a reduced admission price of $25 to the Mattapan Unity 5K Fete on August 8, 2026!
