Please join us to celebrate the 65th anniversary of NCLS (Newton Chinese Language School) with this fun filled 5K Run and Walk! Founded in 1959, NCLS has 65 years of history of preserving cultural heritage and promoting diverse culture. It is the largest Chinese Language School in the new England area, with more than 800 families and 1300 students enrolled from the greater Boston area. This year marks 65th anniversary of NCLS and we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with the 5k race that encourages health, wellness and cultural connection. This event is organized by NCLS and sponsored by local businesses.

Registration Fee:
Pre-Registration is $10 through 5/9.
Day-of registration will be $30.

9:40 am Warm-up, speeches
9:55 am National Anthem
10:00 am NCLS Dragon's Path 5K
11:00 am Award Ceremony
11:30 am Event closes

Porta Johns will be available.
Number Pick-Up:
Race bibs will be available for pickup at Newton Chinese Language School library on Sunday, May 5th and at 60 Wells Ave Newton beginning at 8am on race day (May 11th).
Pre-race packet pickup (including time chipped bib, race shirt)
Awards:
Top 3 finishers Male and Female in 5K race
Top finisher per age group per gender (10 year increments, exclude top 3 overall)
Largest Team
T-Shirts:
The first 200 registered runners/walkers will be offered a high quality cotton T shirt with school celebration logo.
Post Race:
Water, fruit and snacks will be provided free to all runners after crossing the finish-line.
Volunteering:
Sign up to volunteer for the race. Volunteers will receive a FREE race T-shirt. Community Service hours are awarded to student volunteers.
