Run into Summer/Blueberry Pie 5K Run plus an exciting Challenger 1 Mile Run designed for people of all abilities to participate and enjoy the thrill of crossing the finish line.

The course starts and finishes at the Cape Cod Cooperative School / Cape Cod Challenger Club at 418 Bumps River Road and takes runners through a beautiful rolling course through Osterville. This race is chip timed on every runner's racing bib. The race course is USA Track & Field officially measured but not officially certified; unfortunately, no world records can be set on our course.

Blueberry Pies from Centerville Pie Company are the prizes for both Overall and Category winners.

New categories to win this year are an "age-graded top ten" and "fastest team or family"

Also new this year is our Pie Eating Contest held at the Finish Line. It will be limited to 10 competitors in each of the three divisions.
12 and under juniors will be eating 1/2 of a small blueberry pie. For ages 13 and above, masters, men, and women's divisions will have to eat a complete small blueberry pie. Trophies and t-shirts to the winners. This pie-eating race is preregistration only.
No race day pie eating contest sign-ups because the pies are baked fresh the day before.

The Challenger Club promotes year-round healthy, active lifestyles to an underserved population and provides opportunities for inclusiveness, social interaction and personal growth. This is the 21st year the Challenger Club has been providing free athletic, recreational, and social activities to Cape Cod's special needs community. The Challenge Club does not receive any state or federal funding and operates solely through grants, fundraising, and our entrepreneurial businesses, Cape Cod Challenger Green Fertilizer and Challenger Vending. All proceeds from this event will be used to further support the mission and 100% of the funds will remain in the local community.

Participants ages 7 and under and 80 and over run for free! Discount will be applied when you check out
