Event Postponed Due To Weekend Nor'easter!
New Date: November 14, 2026
Thanks to this early Fall nor'easter due to hit the area tomorrow night through the weekend we have postponed our Inaugural 5K.
We met with the Casino and our management team, High5EM and came to the conclusion that with all the wind and rain anticipated it would not be responsible for us to host this event.
That being said, we have already nailed down the new race date of November 14th.

Join the North Attleboro / Plainville Rotary Club for the Inaugural Trot The Track Run/Walk at Plainridge Park Casino in Plainville, MA! This 5K run or walk will take you on a journey around the historic Horse track and surrounding casino grounds. This event is brought you by the Rotarians - who all volunteer their time, expertise, and resources to tackle local and international humanitarian challenges under the motto “Service Above Self." We hope you'll join us for this spectacular community event!
Age To Participate - All ages are welcome!! Participants 21+ will receive some additional perks courtesy of the Plainridge Park Casino.
Course
5 laps around the horse track is an official 5K.
*If you are walking or would like to opt into a shorter version that is totally acceptable.
Entertainment
We're lucky to have Emcee Max keeping us entertained and informed all morning!! Live music from the School of Rock will start at 10AM right through Noon.
Post Race
A variety of snack, fruit and packaged goods will be available and complimentary to all participants.
There will be also be a photo booth to capture all your pre/post race memories!!

Short sleeve custom shirts are guaranteed to those registered by 11/1. Beyond that date sizes are not guaranteed.
Sizes are unisex, YS-YL and Adult S-3XL. Sign up includes a T Shirt, a $15 PENN Slot Play voucher in the casino and a custom finisher medal.

Weather
Races are held in rain or shine unless we determine that race conditions are dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race morning. If the race needs to be cancelled there will be no refunds, but we will do our best to establish a postponement date. That being said, if a postponement date cannot be reached with all involved parties, each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as t-shirts, insurance, and online administrative fees.
All fees collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration.
Refunds/Transfers
We understand life happens and things may come up.
We’ve implemented a FREE refund, deferral and transfer policy through September 1st.
No refunds without insurance after Sept 1st will be permitted.
Deferrals/transfers after Sept 1st (without insurance), will incur a $10 fee for administration purposes.
