Description
There will be two heats for this event.
The first heat will be for the 5K runners. There will be one timer provided calling out times but it is recommended that runners time themselves for more accurate results. It will be from 1:15 - 2:00 pm. Anyone of all ages may participate. Fun Runners can also watch this heat if they want to. Runners in this heat can run or walk and can drop out early/take a break if need be.
The second heat will be for the Fun Run. This will be a more casual run where people may run or walk as long as they want. It will be from 2:10 - 3:00 pm.
Any runners and/or watchers can give donations to the donation booth which will be open the entire time. All donations will go to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for pediatric cancer research.
Walk in sign-ups will be accepted, just let us know which heat you'd like to participate in.
Water and small snacks will be served. Families are welcome to bring in dishes of their own, but be sure to include ingredient list in case of allergies/dietary restrictions.
T-Shirts will be sold online at the event, all profits will go towards Dana-Farber.
