SGT Shane P. Duffy Memorial Fund 10k & 5k. 

This coming January, I will be joining my sister in law Shawna in running the Dopey Challenge at Disney World, We will also be raising critical funds for our local Veteran community, Gold Star Families and upcoming graduates from Taunton High.  This is where we need your help! The basic ideal that drives our efforts is simple: my brother Army SGT Shane P. Duffy of Taunton, MA was serving our country with the 10th Mountain Division in Iraq when his unit was attacked on June 4, 2008.  He and two other soldiers were killed in action by enemy fire.  Shane was 22 years old. The SGT Shane P. Duffy Memorial Fund was founded in 2009 with the purpose of giving back veterans, improving the lives of their families and supporting young adults in the community who display Strength, Passion and Dedication.  Your tax deductible donation literally provides a lifeline that helps provide support when needed.
