Note: For 2026 there will be NO DAY of REGISTRATION available
**Early start at 8:30 AM will be made available for only half marathon runners who are unsure whether they’ll finish within the 3-hour time limit. You will get your finishing time but will not be eligible for awards.
All 10.5K runners MUST start at the 10.5k time (9:20 AM). Any 10.5k runners that start early (8:30 AM or 9:00 AM) will be DQ'd and not receive a published race result.

Description
The Upton 10.5K and Half Marathon Trail Race, set in Upton State Forest in Upton, MA, has two races: a 21K (a half marathon with two laps) and a 10.5 K. Runners will navigate single tracks and forest roads. There is about 720 ft of elevation gain per lap. Those who register early will receive TVFR Upton Trail Buff. There are aid stations at the corner of Dean Pond Rd and Park Rd and the Park Rd/Loop Rd intersection, spaced roughly every 3 miles.
Post-race festivities will feature fire pits, hot soup, and hot chocolate. Awards include "Custom Made" trophies for the top male and female overall, and age group awards recognize the top three in various categories.

Overall top 3 (Male & Female) and age group awards are based on gun/clock time for both the half and the 10.5

Course Description
21K (half marathon / 2 laps) or 10.5K trail run through technical, and hilly, single track trails and forest roads in Upton State Forest in Upton, MA.
NO DOGS participating in the race and the course is not STROLLER friendly.
AID STATIONS: 2 on course (approximately every 3 miles).

- Park Rd/Loop Rd intersection
Each lap (2x for half marathon) is approximately 6.5 miles and about 720 ft elevation gain.
