Massachusetts Indoor Time Trial Series (MITTS)

The Massachusetts Indoor Time Trial Series (MITTS) brings together 6 local indoor time trials into one exciting series. The series kicks off with the 19th annual Team Psycho Time Trial in Needham, MA on 2/1/20 and concludes with the FastSplists Indoor Time Trial at the RACE-MANIA Summit and Expo in Boston on 3/15/20. The distance of these TTs range from 10k to 15k. Sign up for two or more TTs in the series and you’ll save $5 on each additional TT (promo code for the $5 savings to be included in your confirmation email).

MITTS Cash Awards and Prizes: Each event in the MITTS series will distribute it’s own awards and prizes, but there will also be $500 cash and $300 in credits to triathlons organized by Sun Multisport Events for the top 3 males and females that participate in the series based on a points system that rewards both performance and participation.

The MITTS Point System: MITTS participants will earn points for participation and performance.  An athlete will receive 10 points for participation each time they register for a MITTS event (e.g. sign up for 3 MITTS events, get 30 points!). Points will also be awarded for performance in the male or female categories as follows: 10 points for 1st place, 9 points for 2nd place, 8 points for 3rd place, etc. down to 1 point for 10th place (0 points for finishing 11th or lower). For example, a female that registers for 2 MITTS evens and finishes 1st and 3rd in those events receives 20 points for participation and 18 points for finishing 1st (10) and 3rd (8) for a total of 38 points. The 3 males and females with the most points will be rewarded with the following:

• 1st place: $125 cash + $75 race credit with Sun Multisport Events
• 2nd place: $75 cash + $50 race credit with Sun Multisport Events
• 3rd place: $50 cash + $25 race credit with Sun Multisport Events
