Join us Sun, Sep 6, 2020 – Sat, Sep 12, 2020 to Run Suicide Out of Massachusetts! 

All proceeds  to Benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Experience - Massachusetts Chapter. 

In 2019, 740 People died by suicide in Massachusetts. Suicide is the 12th leading cause of death in Massachusetts. 2nd leading cause of death for ages 10-34, 4th for ages 35-54, 8th for 55-64, and 17th for ages 65+. 

The goal of this virtual challenge is simple - to run suicide out of Massachusetts. Individuals will run/walk 7.40 miles, .1 for every life lost to suicide in 2019. The mileage can be consecutive or cumulative during National Suicide Prevention week. We hope that each following year our race distance will decrease meaning lives lost to suicide in Massachusetts will have decreased.
