Last year's inaugral 5K helped fund a groundbreaking AI-powered diagnositc initiative with the potential to transform how rare neuroimmune diseases are identified around the world.

Using only a smartphone image, this technology is being developed to rapidly and accurately analyze diagnostic testing, helping clinicians detect rare neuroimmune conditions earlier - especially in underserved regions where access to specialized care and testing is limited. Earlier diagnosis can lead to faster treatement, better outcomes and a greater chance of preventing permanent disability, vision loss and disease progression. 

What started as a community race is now helping drive a global solution that could expand access to life-changing care for patients everywhere.
