The Road to Cooperstown Home Run Derby

PAL's 12U Select team has an opportunity to play in a week-long baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dream Park (https://www.cooperstowndreamspark.com) in Summer 2026.  The entire team has been working hard on the field (including Sunday practices during the summer!) to make sure we are physically ready for this incredible opportunity.  However, the cost per kid is approximately $1,500 so we are working hard to raise funds to offset this cost.

On Saturday, September 20th at 4pm, the twelve members of our team will compete in a home run derby.  Each player will have ten swings.

In advance of the home run derby, each player is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win $500.  One ticket is $20, three tickets are $50, and ten tickets are $100.  Depending on how your player does in the home run derby, these chances can be multiplied by the following formula:

1 - 3 homers: each chance is doubled

4 - 6 homers: each chance is tripled

7 - 10 homers: each chances is quadrupled

At the conclusion of the home run derby, the winning player will draw the winner.  Spectators are welcomed and encourage to attend the home run derby and the following party (more details will be forthcoming on the party)
