Description
Worried about those extra holiday pounds? Looking for a way to make a difference in the community? Make a resolution to run or walk Wednesday, January 1st at the Resolution Run. The 5K run/walk is held in Patterson Park and benefits Earl’s Place – a transitional home for men who are experiencing homelessness. You can kick-start your fitness regimen for 2020 while you help give someone the key to a safe place to live and a new beginning. For more information, please visit our website, cchbaltimore.org.
The New Year's Day Resolution Run will be chip timed.
Entry Fees:
$30 until 12/19/19 ($35 after 12/19/19)
$15 for ages 12 and under until 12/19/19 (this discount will be applied at checkout) ($20 after 12/19/19)
$15 Kids Fun Run (8 and under)
$30 Sleepwalker (I'm sleeping in, but I want to support a good cause and get a shirt!)

Register a team of 10 or more adult members and the Team Captain will receive a free entry next year (please specify who team captain is on registration form). Team registrations must be mailed in (see below for forms) by December 1, 2019.

Race Day
St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church Social Hall (basement) starting at 12:30 p.m.
Course
Course is entirely in Patterson Park. Port-a-Potties will be available. The run and walk will begin and end at the Pavillion.
Directions
From downtown Baltimore, go east on Pratt Street until it ends at Patterson Park Avenue. Turn left. At the second light, turn right onto Baltimore Street. St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church is on the left at the corner of Baltimore Street and Lakewood Avenue (eight blocks east of Patterson Park Avenue).
Street parking is available.
Awards
Awards will be presented as follows: Top three male and female finishers overall and the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over and the top three male/female walkers.
Random prizes will be given at the post-race celebration.
Amenities
Long-sleeved technical shirt guaranteed for the first 550 adult pre-registered participants (children's while supplies last); A warm and hearty lunch of chili and cornbread will be served during the post-race celebration in St. Elizabeth Church Hall. This year the race will be chip timed.
Beneficiary
All proceeds from this event benefit Earl's Place Transitional Housing. You are helping to change a life forever. Thanks to you, homeless men have an opportunity to rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
Event Guidelines
Please no roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets or headphones allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant.
