The 29th Annual Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation Port to Fort 6K sponsored by Home Depot is consistently one of Baltimore’s best run/walk races. Offering spectacular views of Baltimore’s harbor, this is one of the only races that is granted access to historic Fort McHenry. Includes prizes, t-shirts and the best Halloween-themed post-race party in Maryland!
Before we dive into race updates, we just want to say thank you. Your participation in this event means so much more than just running — it's about bringing hope to critically ill children and their families. Every step you take helps us continue that mission, and we're so grateful you're part of it.
Now, a quick update before race day: our course will now be a 5K instead of a 6K. We're truly sorry for the last-minute change — due to the government shutdown, Fort McHenry is temporarily closed, so we had to adjust the route.
The good news? You'll still enjoy the same great energy and community spirit — just in a slightly shorter loop! Please review the updated race route and new start line in the Runner's Handbook before Saturday.
Just a reminder: there will be no packet pickup before race day. You can grab your race shirt and bib number on the morning of the event. Check-in opens at 7:00am at The Liberty Lot, 1215 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230. Please note the parking availability in the Runner's Handbook.
