Description

Please join us for the 2019 Moonlight 5K presented by Brooks in Bel Air. This is a popular family-friendly event which includes a finishers medal and a great after party (one free beer per registrant). Costumes and colorful clothing are encouraged!

Race Details

Registration:

TIER ONE - $25 - EARLY BIRD SPECIAL 
(Increases to $30 after the first 25 people register) - TIER ONE is now full

TIER TWO - $30 
(increases to $35 after the first 275 people register) - TIER TWO is now full

TIER THREE -$35
(increases to $40 after the first 450 people register) - TIER THREE is now full

TIER FOUR - $40
(while quantities last)

Ages 10 and under: $15 - no tiered pricing (this price will be applied at checkout for participants 10 and under)

Race Beneficiaries:

We are pleased to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the 2019 Moonlight 5k presented by Brooks will be donated to the Harford Family House.

Harford Family House, a non-profit organization that is the largest provider of transitional housing for homeless families with children in Harford County. They are the only organization in Harford County capable of keeping an intact family together during the crisis of homelessness.

Course:

STROLLER FRIENDLY! 

The race will start at the Harford County Equestrian Center and travel on paved paths through the property to meet up with the gravel Ma & Pa Trail. Runners do an out-and-back trip on the trail before returning to the Equestrian Center for the finish. 

Awards:

Top 3 overall male and female runners
Top 3 male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

Race Shirt - A Brooks Performance shirt that will quickly become one of your favorites! Mens and Womens sizes from small to 2XL available. Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by June 1st, and may not be available to those registering after June 1st.
Finisher Medal - All finishers will receive a custom finisher medal that will rival what marathons offer! This is one unique medal that will stand out from the rest.
Glow Sticks - Two glow sticks that can be combined into a necklace, or worn separately as bracelets. Everybody is encouraged to wear your best neon gear!

Post Race Party!:

The Kona Ice Truck will be on site selling yummy treats!

With each race entry, we’re excited to offer complimentary BBQ from The Rolling Grill and two Heavy Seas beers (21 and over only) or soda!  Present your bib ticket and i.d. after the race for your food and two domestic beers for our runners and walkers 21+. Soda and water available for participants under 21.  Spectators will be able to purchase food.  Join us for a drink and celebrate a great race!

Parking:

Plenty of race parking is available in the grass lots at the Equestrian Center.

Packet Pickup:

Packets will be available on race day from 6:30-7:45 PM in the first pavilion on your right as you enter the Equestrian Center property.

Due to time constraints on Saturday evening, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to pick up your packet Friday or Saturday.

Transfer Policy:

We allow transfers up to one week prior to race day. There is a $10 processing fee for transfers. The transfer processing fee is paid by the "new registrant". You may transfer by going into your profile on runsignup.com and choosing manage registration.  

Event Policy:

Please no roller blades, skates, bikes, dogs, pets or headphones allowed on the race course. Your race number must be worn on your front and must be visible. DO NOT exchange or give your race number to another participant.
