Food insecurity is on the rise, and with grocery store food costs up, funding for government assistance programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and inflation on the rise, we know that the coming year will be a challenge for those in need and for the organizations who support them, like Bethesda Help. 

Your donation to our mission is solely focused on helping fight food insecurity here, in our local area. Bethesda Help meets a need that most other charitable food organizations don’t - we recognize that lack of transportation or the inability to easily get around or take public transportation are barriers for many. That is why all our deliveries of shelf-stable food, Kids Snack Bags, and grocery gift cards are made curbside at their residence. We operate with an all-volunteer workforce, donated pantry space, and almost no overhead.

To meet this demand, we have set a fundraising goal of $65,000. Your donation toward this goal means we are one step closer to having the funds needed to further our food delivery and grocery card programs in the new year.
