|Boonsboro 225th: 2.25 Mile Anniversary Race & Fitness Challenge (SAT 9/23/17)||

Celebrate the 225th anniversary of Boonsboro's founding with a historic run/walk around town! The 2.25 mile course starts in Shafer Memorial Park, travels down Reeder's Alley, loops around beautiful Boonsboro Cemetery, and heads back to the park via Young Ave and Park Dr. Chip timing will be provided by Overland Timing, but enjoy the race at your own pace. Families, strollers, and dogs are welcome!
Post-race festivities will feature optional bonus workouts, commemorative awards for top finishers, and a host of food, music & activities for all ages. To conclude the morning, a guided walking tour of Boonsboro's most historic sites will depart between 10:30 - 11:00am (total distance approx 1 mile).
Register today for best pricing and group discounts! The first 225 registrants will receive an Anniversary-themed Oval Sticker and race T-shirts will be available to those who register by 9/3/17. All pre-registrations (regardless of shirt selection) must be completed by Weds 9/20/17, 11:59 pm. All proceeds benefit the Boonsboro Historical Society

If you register by Weds 9/20/17, you may pick up your packets (bib#, pins, shirts and giveaways) in advance.
Alternatively, you may pick up on Race Day from 8:00 - 8:45AM at Park Pavillion #1 (closest to parking lot).

Approx 9:45 - 10:10am. Join Jackie for an MMA-inspired workout designed to pummel calories and shred belly fat. No sign up required, just step in the ring if you've got a little fight left!
Approx 9:45 - 10:10am. Basic training at it's finest! Burpees, jumprope, bodyweight moves and yes - more running. No sign up required, just grab a rope and get your finisher on!
