Blossoms Charity Bike Ride & 5k Walk/Run

Join Blossoms of Guyana for our 2nd annual charity Bike Ride and 5K Walk. The event will be held on Sunday May 21st on the scenic and well shaded Indian Creek Trail staring at Wells Ice Rink in College Park, MD. 

The family friendly event will have something for everyone. For those who want a shorter ride, we have 5 mile option and for those who want a longer ride we have 10 mile option as well as the 5K walk for those who prefer to enjoy a walk with their families.

Post Ride and Walk/Run refreshments will be served. Refreshments will include specialized Guyanese snacks. Each participant will receive a Blossoms water bottle as a ride premium.

We know that many of our supporters are not located in the DC metro area. For you we have a virtual option. Choose any distance and participate on your own or with your own family and friends. You can complete the virtual walk or bike ride anytime between Sunday May 21st to May 30th. Just upload your photos to our Facebook page or email us. 

There are options to fund raise for this charity Bike Ride/ walk. Those who fund raise will receive a special gift from us. 

$150 - Purchase books and teaching supplies for one classroom 

$250 - Purchase a chrome book 

$350 - Pay  for the salary for one teacher for one month 

$500 - support the renovation of a library
