The Matzohball 5k and Howard County Family Wellness Day are bringing our community together to make wellness a priority! Howard County Family Wellness Day kicks off with our opening ceremony at 8:30am followed by the start of the Annual Matzohball 5k & 1 mile fun run/walk. The run will wind around the lake at picturesque Centennial Park in Ellicott City MD. Music, Physical Activities, Health Screenings and healthy fun for everyone.
Family registration will include a coupon for 1 awesome Cup of Matzohball Soup in your packet pickup bag, courtesy of Mikey & Mel's, Maple Lawn Maryland.

Race Details
- Packet Pick-Up will be at Road Runner Sports from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, June 8th

- Road Runner Sports will be generously making a contribution to Matzohball 5k for each packet picked up at Road Runner Sports during Packet Pick-Up.
- Road Runner Sports will also be offering $10 instant rewards cash for participants who join the Road Runner Sports VIP club at the store during Packet Pick-Up. Existing VIP members will receive DOUBLE Rewards Cash.
We will also have Packet Pick-Up on race day from 8am to 8:45am at the onsite registration table.

Awards immediately following the 5K.
Awards: 5K awards will include top overall male and female, and the top three in each age group. Age groups are as follows: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Event Rules: Runners must obey all race official instructions. Runners must follow the course as indicated by signage, cones, and course officials. No deviation will be allowed before, during, or after the race. Bibs must be worn on the front of your body at all times.
DONATE YOUR OLD SNEAKERS TO CHARITY: We will have a collection box on race morning next to the stage just above the race start/finish line. Please consider bringing any old running/walking shoes and donating them to charity. (No non-athletic shoes) Donated shoes will be recycled and reused to support individuals and organizations throughout the U.S. Not only that, but a financial contribution from the shoes will than be given to Grass Roots! More than 600 million people worldwide don’t even own a pair of shoes. THANK YOU FOR DONATING YOUR OLD ATHLETIC SHOES AT THE MATZOHBALL 5K!
HOWARD COUNTY FAMILY WELLNESS DAY: Come early and stay late! Enjoy the booths and activities which will begin at 8am. Show up early; check-in and have fun! The Matzohball 5k will go off promptly at 9am. Please allow time for parking.
