The DINFOS EO team is proud to present the first virtual DINFOS Pride Run in honor of LGBTQ Pride Month, which is celebrated throughout the month of June.
Run, walk or bike on your own schedule to show your support!
On June 2, 2000, President Clinton officially declared June Gay and Lesbian Pride Month. In the proclamation he said, "I encourage all Americans to observe this month
with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities that celebrate our diversity and recognize the gay and lesbian Americans whose many and varied contributions have enriched our national life."
It has since evolved into LGBTQ Pride Month to include a larger population. Now, 20 years after the official proclamation, the DINFOS EO team is hosting a virtual run to show our support for the LGBTQ community.
