Join us for the 11th Anniversary of the Run for Shelter!
This is a fun event for the entire family! The event offers a 5K run or 2-mile walk through Baker Park. Strollers, wagons, and dogs are all welcome! Costumes, enthusiasm, and teams encouraged! Stay until the end for refreshments, finisher prizes and door prizes.
Kids get their very own runner swag when they cross the finish line!
You will have a blast while running for a great cause. All of the proceeds of this event go to benefit the Alan P Linton Jr., Emergency Shelter for homeless adults. Your participation in this event gives one homeless person one night of safe shelter! You can make a difference in a Frederick citizen’s life by participating!
