Join us for the second IN-PERSON 5K/10K Clopper Lake Trail Race at Seneca Creek State Park on Sunday, October 24, 2021!
The course follows the Lake Shore Trail around Clopper Lake.

The race starts and finishes at Buck Pavilion, there is plenty of parking, but carpooling is always encouraged!

FAQ
Q. Where does the race start?
A. Race HQ and the Start/Finish line are located at Buck Pavilion.
Q. Can I run with a stroller?
A. No, not unless your stroller is self-driving and equipped with all-terrain tires 😄. But seriously, the trail is not suitable for strollers.
Q. Can I run with my dog?
A. We love trail running with our dogs, however, in the interest of safety, we've decided we can't allow participants with dogs.
Q. Can I change the distance I register for?
A. Yes, but you must email us by OCTOBER 22 to make any changes. We will not accept any distance changes after October 22. We also will NOT allow changes on Race Day morning!
Q. Are you offering T-Shirts?
A. YES, but you must register by Thursday, September 30, 2021, to guarantee you receive a shirt in your preferred size. Participants registering after September 30 are not guaranteed a shirt, but may receive one on a first-come, first-serve basis on race-day, depending on available surplus.
Q. What are the cut-off times?
A. All runners must be off the course by 11:00 am.
Q. What's the course like?
A. You will run on a natural trail, with rocks, roots, some hills, and bridges (no stream crossings).
Q. Is there a finishers' medal?
A. YOU BET!
Q. I'm new to trail running, is this a good race for noobs?
A. Absolutely! The loop around Clopper Lake is the perfect balance of distance, climb, and off-road terrain for new trail runners and expert trailblazers alike. We suggest starting with the 5K (1 loop) if this is your first trail race.
