2021 Race Cancelled

FEEA has decided to cancel the 2021 Public Service 5K Walk/Run. In its place, we will be celebrating Public Service Recognition Week and FEEA’s 35th anniversary with the Feds In Motion 35 Challenge, an all-virtual event. Challenge participants will have 35 days to walk, run, bike, swim, and/or roll 35 miles or more in honor of FEEA’s 35 years serving feds. You can learn more about the challenge and everything included at feea.org/challenge.

Here Are Your Options:

Please choose one of the other options -- Transfer to Feds In Motion 35 Challenge, Donate my registration fee, or Get a refund

The Feds In Motion 35 Challenge will take place from May 2 - June 5, 2021. You can walk, run, bike, swim, and/or roll your wheelchair on your favorite route — to reach the goal of 35 miles (or more!) in 35 days. You can transfer to this new event at no additional charge.

Event registration fees are used to support FEEA's emergency hardship loan, disaster relief, and scholarship programs. These programs continue, along with special pandemic-related help for feds, and your donation will help make that possible. FEEA is a 501(c)3 charity and donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you soon.

We understand. We hope you can join us next time. Please be patient as it may take several weeks for your refund to be processed.

Description

The Public Service Charity 5K/1M Walk/Run celebrates and supports federal public servants across the country, and provides a family-friendly health and wellness event for all ages.

Last year over 500 runners, walkers, and volunteers participated in the event in the D.C. metro area, as well as virtual participants all over the U.S.

All proceeds from the event support FEEA: The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund’s disaster relief, emergency hardship loan, and scholarship programs. Last year FEEA served over 500 families through these programs.

In the DC area, participants register for either the 5K or 1M events. Participants outside the DC metro should register for the Virtual Race. Children 5 & under are free.
Pricing:
Through January 15, 2021 -- all registrations just $20!
January 16 - March 15, 2020 -- 5K/1M registrations $25, Virtual registrations $20
March 16 - May 1, 2021 -- 5K/1M registrations $35, Virtual registrations $25

Please note there is a processing fee from RunSignUp that will be added at the end of your order.

Help us raise more donations: Donations are a critical part of FEEA's funding, allowing us to help more than 500 federal families each year with disaster relief, college scholarships, and emergency hardship loans. All donations made to FEEA through personal or team fundraising pages are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. During registration our system will automatically make you a personal fundraising page or a team fundraising page (if you register as a team), for collecting donations from friends and family online. Please help FEEA help feds by customizing your page and sharing it via email, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. We also offer a check donation option. You can change a life with your donation page!
