Description
Deer Dash 5K is a chip-timed 5K race through the beautiful Summerfield neighborhood of Lake Linganore starting and finishing at Deer Crossing Elementary school. The 1-mile Fun Run is a non-timed event that takes place on the recess grounds of Deer Crossing Elementary, behind the school. Produced by the Deer Crossing Elementary PTA, this event is an annual event loved by all that brings our community together around healthy habits and movement and raises money for school improvements and programs that support the staff and children at DCES. Please join us this year and make it a STELLAR event.

Registration / Packet Pick-Up: 7:30 am - 8:15 am
Warm-Up: 8:15 am
5K Run: 8:30 am
Fun Run: 8:45 am

Adult 5K: $20
18 and under 5K: $15 (price automatically reduced at checkout)
Family (5K and Fun Run)*: $60 / $55 early bird ends 3/20 (price automatically reduced at checkout)
Fun Run (1-mile) only: $10 (not timed)
DCES Staff: $10

*Note: Family Registration includes 2 Adults and up to 4 related children for the 5K and/or Fun Run.

- First Place DCES Staff finisher.

Family Sponsorship Opportunity
We're hoping to gather Family Sponsors this year to outsource course set-up tasks previously taken on by our PTA Volunteers to give to our race producer. Your donation will go directly towards improved course signage, street cone placement and the water station. Additional funds will also be used towards active flair for our Fun Run. Our goal is to raise $1000!
Note: April 1st is the deadline for family sponsor names to appear on the T-shirt.
