Irvine Nature Center's Bauer Preserve Summer Solstice Sunset 5K

Help support Irvine Nature Center’s Environmental Education Programs! Our Summer Solstice Family Festival and Sunset 5K will take you through Irvine’s 210 acres of trails. Spend the evening with your friends and family enjoying everything our region has to offer –local food, brews, flora, and fauna. All proceeds support Irvine Nature Center’s mission: to teach current and future generations to explore, respect, and protect nature.

REGISTRATION FEES

$10 for Family Festival and 1K Family Fun Run ($20 on race day) - all attendees must buy ticket for Family Festival even if not participating in the Family Fun Run.

$35 for Sunset 5K Trail Run ($45 on race day)

There are no refunds or transfers of registration fees permitted for this event.

* all 5K runners receive a race t-shirt.

* Special trophies made from recycled materials for the top male and female 5K finishers

Amenities:

All 5K runners will receive a shirt. We will have post-race snacks to help runners refuel.

Beneficiary:

Irvine Nature Center is a non-profit educational organization, offering pro­grams of environmental studies and natural science to children and adults of the greater Baltimore area. We pro­vide these experiential learning op­portunities in many forms, including: Programs for children, families and adults; Field Trips; Nature Birth­day Parties; The Nature Preschool;  Summer Na­ture Camps; Special Events and Green Weddings. We provide more than 500 program sessions annually to 50,000 children and adults. We also welcome visitors to explore our 210 acres of woodlands, wetlands and meadows; enjoy our resident animals; and our interactive exhibit hall free of charge.
